Gorgeous Boys ….

 

Two more layouts using some lovely word art and embellishments from Jen’s Word Art World Blog.  I really like the “love text overlay’ the Jen has created, not to mention the cute “Conversation Hearts”.  They remind me of some lollies that I used to love as a kid – they were about 1” round, different colours and had hearts and words stamped on them….. probably where Jen got her inspiration I’d say

I was actually trying to take a photo of all the kids, but Abby has a tendency to steal the show when it comes to photos. She is certainly one to express herself freely !!
I love this Fall Carnival kit from Lali Creations - it is so bright and colourful. And Jen's lovely Word Art from her SWAP 19 Freebie Pack was so much fun to play with.

Only You Can–Word Art Kit from Word Art Blog

Here is a layout I created using Jen's lovely Word Art and Victoria Feemster's "Boyish Charm" kit. I love the bright colours of this kit, and I often use it for layouts that are not necessarily all about boys. I think it really compliments this photo of my son and his girlfriend beautifully. The word art has been coloured to match the photo - another great thing to do with Jen's Word Art.

Thankful for you ...

I have so many photos of my nephew and his wife with their lovely little boy that I find I keep going back to them for my Design Team layouts. This one features the digital kit entitled Delightful Days bySpinky Dink designs available at Gotta Pixel.com. Once again I have used Jen's Word Art for my title, I linked the paper layers with the title to create the complimentary wording. What do you think?

My First Baby is turning 21!!!

Son number 3 was my baby for 11 yrs before the twins were born, and here I am starting to organise his 21st!!! My goodness time flies. This definitely calls for a couple of layouts about what a fantastic young man he has grown up to be. He was always the one to be there to give mum a hug and a helping hand when the whole 'mum to 5 boys' became too much for me and he hasn't changed a bit.
We used to call him Mum 2 when the twins were small because he was always there for them, and always more than willing to help me out with them. And the relationship that formed between him and his little brothers is as strong as ever today.
I am so blessed to have 3 perfect gentlemen to be role models for their little brothers .... what can I say .... I love them all.

More of the wonderful Life Tapestry kit...

For a kit that I wasn't too keen on, I am loving this Life Tapestry collaboration kit from Gotta Pixel. Silvia Romeo's papers and embellishments are just gorgeous, and Jen's alphabet and word art complements the papers so perfectly. I've used an old photo of my parents wedding for one layout, and a photo-shopped recent pic of one of my boys for the other. What do you think of them?

Seems like Yesterday...

This beautiful kit is from Life Tapestry collaboration by Jen's Word Art World and Silvia Romeo. It is available now at Gotta Pixel.com. It is so 'not me' but I am really happy with the way my layout turned out. Just goes to prove it is worth stepping out of the box occasionally. I'm hoping to digitise some more old photos of my family and make more of these gorgeous antique layouts.
